It was a combination of intoxication and musical ambition that spawned The Third Estate in April 2003. Josh, former bassist of the band Oversurge, was staggering along Dean St in Albury one night and bumped into local boy Dan, whom Josh had heard was a passionate musician. He spontaneously asked the short man if he would like to join a band, and this drunken encounter ultimately marked the beginning of The Third Estate.
